Tacoma's are Okay. Just be careful what year you get. I watched a safety show about SUV's and Truck's. The Tacoma was in there and got a REALLY bad crash rating at 35 MPH. It was for the side impact. This was (I think) the 2000 model, maybe 1999 not 100% sure. Just check out what kind of safety rating. They only have to test it for 30 MPH, by law. Also if you get the 2 wheel drive, remember they STINK in the snow. So you might wont to keep your car, or get a beater for winter time use.
