4 ohms? 2 ohms? Which one?

its a US Acoustics USX2150 amp rated at 225Wx2CH RMS @ 2ohms @12.9V input. I've already wired it to 2 ohms, and so far I have no problems. It definitely hits harder due to the 150W increase, but my amp does overheat and cut off from time to time.
