I'm going to buy a short shifter, I was wondering if there are any brands that are any better than others, or if it does particularly matter which kind of short shifter I get? I would like to get one that moves the shifter back a couple of inches toward the armrest, anybody have any good suggestions, or should I just look for the cheapest buy on ebay? Thanks

as for short shifters... its all pretty much about the same... the results that i have seen were all pretty close...
as for being ablt to move your shifter in a certain position.. well thats not gonna happen.... basically what a short shifter does is shorten your throw when you shift... meaning that instead of shifting the stick thru each gear a certain distance.. it'll be a lot shorter now.... as well the stick will be be shorten in height.....
