its going to cost you more to do it than a body shop unless you have a paint gun, compressor, bondo, etc.
maybe $100 to have it done at a body shop. you could do the prep work yourself if you want to keep costs somewhat down. sand down the area around the emblem holes, if you can......weld or at least jb weld something behind the holes so that the bondo has a backing....after doing that put some bondo to fill in the holes.....you dont want TOO much excess but some is good.....let it dry and harden - for a while. then sand it down again so you have a smooth sanded and shaved surface, then mask off the painted areas very well, and spray down some primer, sand the primer to a nice smooth finish. bring it to a body shop and have them paint. primer, bondo, sandpaper, jbweld, and whatever you use to back the holes - wont be too expensive. |
