WHat headers for N/A
Dc 4-2-1 1 piece
Dc 4-2-1 2 piece Or I could go with 4-1 for the high end power but I need low and mid so I am going with the 4-2-1. Give me some ideas.

4-2-1 is the best for our cars...and any n/a street car....soo thats a good choice...when Import tuner tested out someheaders...the 2 peice made more power than the 1 peice...DC im talking...so i wouldve thought that the 1 peice would be smoother..and i still think it is...and weighs less...im still debating on DC 4-2-1 one peice CC a greddy 4-2-1 2 peice, not to be baised ...but i think greddy has made the best stuff for honda's..and civics to be more specific.....there header even though its SS...makes gains..and is prove to make then at the mid range point...which our cars...,mycar especially lacks.....the piping...and flanges are bigger if i remember clearly...so right now...which ever one i can get after i get my GReddy Sp...i will get....i think those are the two best ones.....the comptech is known to rust....and it rains in miami alot sooo not that one..and the greddy outpreformed it...so i would go GReddy..or Dc

Depends on what direction wou want to go with your setup. Like I always say- think of where you want your car to end up as a finished project.
If you're going with basic bolt ons, the DC 4-2-1 is going to be your best choice- both in terms of price and gains. It consistently outperforms everything else in testing. Serious all motor- JDM style 4-1- Spoon, Mugen, genuine JDM, etc. These headers utilize the longer individual runners, normally all the way to the cat. They usually also have a 2.5" collector flange. Gobs of top end power, usually with a small sacrifice mid-range. SC or N20- Kamikaze style 4-1. Shorter individual runners, converging just before the header bends from heading down to the back of the car. Once again, the dynos can't be wrong. |

I uSED TO HAVE RSR ON MY CAR BEFORE. HOW ARE THEY?? DOES ANYONE KNOW? RSR CLAIMED THAT MY CAR GAINED 18 HORSES AT THE WHEELS AFTER RSR HEADERS AND EXHAUST. THEY USED MY CAR DO TEST IT BEFORE THEY STARTED SELLING IT.

18 horse is impossible with ANY bolt on into any Honda (barring S2K, NSX, etc). The only NA parts I've ever seen produce 18 hp are cams and pistons, which are far from bolt ons.

Thats what i said. Atleast they gave me the parts for dirt cheap. I can understand how cams can give you horses but how can pistons give you horses. ?????

Whatever you do DO NOT buy a DC. They are the biggest peices of shit. 4-1 is hella big and will effect the ground clearance, I'm haveing to raise my car up just to get over bumps and such.

Pimpenex, let me know how it works for you...I'm trying to decide on a header too. Although, I think I want a body kit (GroundDesigns Black Widow hood and a Tsunami T2000 front bumper) first.

agreed, DC sports are junk.. they crack at the welds, etc.
I wouldn't recommend 4-2-1 either. Think about, where do our cars make power? high band. so why not get somethign that compliments that, like a 4-1? Personally, I run a Stillen 4-1 on my sol. it really is good for the price i paid for it. i can honestly say i noticed a lot of top end gain... and better throttle resonse, and a great tone to the exhaust too. but if you got the money, go with what 2ndgen teg said- spoon or even an ITR jdm 4-1 is the way to go. wonder why they are all 4-1? yeah. to hell with 4-2-1. anyone who has a 4-2-1 is jsut tyring to make power in a band where power doesn't exist, and is plain and simple, ill- informed. |

the pest header
Hi-Tech headers!!! Cost a little over a g, but are the best! check www.importbuilders.com the guy worked at the FORMER Atomic Performance and now has his own shop. They only deal with the best. And customer service is top notch quality.:
