Empty Back Seats..
I have a 94 Coupe and I really want to get rid of the back seats. I was wondering if anyone has removed them and what they have done with the gap that is there. Plus in removing the back of the seats the trunk is fully open. Any mods done there? Any pics anyone has of theirs or just in general could help me out a lot.

get a thin piece of wood and cover it in carpet to cover the back piece where the trunk goes and where the bottom of the seats would be. you can either use thin wood from like home depot or lowes or get the same kind of crap the piece in your trunk is made of, that covers the spare tire.
im doing the same thing in my hatch.... |

I was thinking of a plexiglass type thing to seperate the trunk from the cockpit

to separate it??? you mean how like cop cars have the fence thing between the back and the front? i think thatd be whack lookin
![]() the easiest thing to do is use the thin piece of wood and slap some carpet on it. |

Its hard to explain the glass thing.. I'm lookin for pics of what I am talking about but if I decide to go with the wood and the carpet I think I may just throw either 1 big box or 2 lil ones and have them facing inward (inside the car).. of course what you are doing is gonna look better, you're doin it to a hatch

How about 2 sparcos in the back? Do you think Sparco would make me a custom 2 seater-racing seat?

you could custom fit racing seats to fit in the back.....but it doesnt really look good in a coupe - and no thats not a hatch is better crack, im serious, looks whack in a coupe/sedan and is harder to fit cuz of the rear speaker deck. just get your back seats wrapped in vinyl or somethin, wouldnt look bad.

I say just carpet everything left back there and leave it open to the trunk.

Hybrid- I know you werent makin a crack with the Hatch thing.. its true modifications inside a hatch look better than they would on a coupe. But outside, a hatch is no match for a coupe

What is Liquid-Glass?
From what I am hearing about it I think I'm going to fit a piece of carpeted wood between the trunk and the pit and throw a big ass box where the seats used to be.. bu instead of having them in a wood box it would be out of this Liquid-Glass junk. But I dunno how the sound of the bass would be hmmm? maybe just the top can be "glass" Or I'm thinking of making it a 3 seater.. a sparco in the middle and 2 subs on either side? LMAO |

I don't like the hatch
just IMO of course I don't like the Sedans Either but Anyway.. I think I can picture what your talking about. You want your trunk to look like a Banpass Box ?????!!!!!!???? If you do that .. you better get a nice system and put some neon tubes up in that joint. IMO good luck .. let us know

hyrbid ya know me I agree :-D
lol Anyways my car is COMPLETELY stripped I didn't read the whole article cause I'm lazy and opinionated anyways.... Aight heres an idea to SAVE WEIGHT (isn't that the idea) don't add any wood or anything...and screw the carpet...who needs it anyways...cleaning metal is easier (cept for the damn tar) Get a grinder and just grind EVERYTHING down...like the little bar that comes up for the seats...its like 2lbs...get rid of it..lol I'm dead serious I haven't been able to get my hands on a grinder...cause like I said I'm lazy...but one day... I'll have some pictures of my car soon I'll post them up just remind me or something AIM = ZeroAccess |

I took basically everything out.. I have my front seats and metal flooring and a BIG hole in my trunk. I dont mind leaving it but I duno.. it needs something. Plus my rear speakers totally sound HORRIBLE cuz the bass is just "bouncing" around the car
![]() Diamond-cut flooring.. opinion please! |
