And when's the last time you were in an f-body? They run low 13s of the showroom floor. And C5 vettes should crack into the 12s off the showroom floor -- Z06s should get to the low 12s.
I took my 4000-lb (with me in it and a full tank) HEAVY-@SS convertible Trans-Am to the track with simple mods (air intake, exhaust) and ran 13.68 @ 103. No NAAAAAAAAAAAWS. Stock plus intake/exhaust in a heavy convertible with a rollbar in it.
Hey, high 13s is fast for a Civic, but it's "something is wrong with my car" territory for f-bodys and corvettes.
