Hmm, not a bad topic. I'm 22, been out of school a couple of years, 8-5 desk jockey, and an "average stuck-up nerd" (see first post - I was the kid juvenile woulda beaten up in high school). Near-term goals: eat some lunch, buy a house, get married. Longer-term goals: raise a family, work my entire life (no retiring at 40 for me!), and understand better the meaning of life.

That's sorta my philosophy - for one reason or another we're here, so we should all have two goals: strive to understand what the universe is all about, and contribute something to it while we're here.
