Auto's can be fast, and if you want the ease of auto with the the spirit of a manual, spring for a tiptronic, it's just as much fun!
I personally prefer manual, but there's nothing wrong with auto.......there's an 8 second quick class neon that's auto

I've got some friends with Tiptronic VW Golf GTI's and those things are a blast........so, auto might not be for everybody, but it does work for some.
