I think a lot of that has to do with having bigger and wider rims, Even my 15s do it a little, but not near as bad as the 17s used to do it. A lot of it depends on the road. With stock tires on, they are so skinny you cant really tell anything, but with wider tires you can. Try playing with the air pressure in the tires.. let some out this should help with the wheel turning like that.
