This may be your problem make sure that its not just the grooves in the road. I had a horrible time with my tires holding on to the grooves in my last car. It was so bad thatif I let the steering wheel go while I was still creeping at a stop light it would turn the wheel about a full half turn, pain in the ass but soem times you pay the price to look good....Right!?!?!?

any ways just make sure that is not the cause

I think a lot of that has to do with having bigger and wider rims, Even my 15s do it a little, but not near as bad as the 17s used to do it. A lot of it depends on the road. With stock tires on, they are so skinny you cant really tell anything, but with wider tires you can. Try playing with the air pressure in the tires.. let some out this should help with the wheel turning like that.
