I assume that if you are going to change cams you want Crower or type S. The crower Stage I and Type S cams are the exact same and will pass smog. The crower stage II's with the stock idle lobe part number 63422A will pass also. The stage II's part number 63422 will probably not pass a smog test. The stage III's will definitely not pass smog.
