Thanks for the link, I removed the kick panel and saw the ECU but was not able to locate this connector

Is it behind the ECU or something? In my Accord it was easily found, didn't even had to remove the kick panel, in the Civic I didn't see it. Would the timing vary a lot if this plug is not jumped? I adjusted to the center mark (of the three available) without jumping, how far from good is this?
