Well...if it's a thunderstorm you can't be near anything metal or you'll just be distracted going "man...getting struck by lightning while doing the do would totally suck". Having sex in the rain is great provided it's summertime, it's not raining too hard, and it's generally comfortable outside. Otherwise, like Wren pointed out, you just end up cold and wet.
