They type you are talking about are called coilover sleeves.
Yes they will fit on your stock schocks.. Depending at what height you use them, the shocks wont last very long.. You should get shocks for lowered applications I would strongly suggest you avoid coilover sleeves. Too many problems involved.. Simply for being able to raise and lower your car as you wish.. If you absolutely must have CO, then get the full coilovers.. Those run close to 1k$.. Includes springs and shocks.. Still expect a bumpy ride, cause they are made for performance.
