I think common sense needs a different name due to the fact that it's not so common anymore (if it ever was). I work with the general public (in a book/music store) when I'm back home too and I get the most ridiculous questions. Case in point...people will walk up to me and just blurt out the name of an author or artist without saying anything else. Example:

Dumbass customer: "Allen Ginsberg"
Me: "No, my name's Steve. Can I help you find anything?" *customer procedes to get a root canal via my fist*

Then there's the "captain obvious" kind of people. One dumb bitch actually managed to make her way to the middle of the store, past shelves upon shelves upon shelves of books to ask "do you sell paperbacks here?". I promptly disemboweled her and strangled her with her own intestines. Some people are only living because murder is against the law (that's right...I'm lookin' at you, Florida).
