All the linkages are removed the only thing left is the lock. How do i get at the clip, i tried it from the front but i can only get like half of it off, and i can't pull the handle unit out far enough to get at it from the bottom. I'm not sure what you mean by this. Just a tip, so no new parts have to be bought, just unscrew the entire handle from the latch/opening linkage. Count the threads/turns! Its easier that way, if you ask me and works fine.
