Drop the compression to whatever you like (I prefer 9.5:1) then get a stock Honda spec Cometic head gasket. You will run into timing problems on thicker head gasket since the cam will be off. It's fixable by a few ways tho, the most common is using an adjustable cam gear. D-series turbos makes a lot of torque because of long stroke. If you bore the cylinders out, be ready to sleeve it.
