you still have yet to touch on the most important issue, the fact is the majority is not you when it comes to MD players.

As for my hard drive use, i've had the same hard drive on for 5 years none stop, some at work have been on for 2 years and we've got a laptop here thats coming up one 6 years old. Good drives don't fail.
