Ok, *looks around* yup we're in japan alright. Dude when I said 49% i wasn't talking about the world, I was talking about North America. As for MP3's they have gone through a few changes, but most recently its about small hard drives with lots of space. 1GB is great, but heres 40GB and no mini discs to lose. I know you like to support your mini disc because you own one, and yes you're right if we lived in japan more people would carry this format. However, news flash we dont and when sony launches its ipod rip off shortly you'll see them go this way in north america. Small hard drives are what the north american market craves and firewire is a very fast technology, but its more commonly found on apple computers. So most people use USB or USB2 that are also both very fast and quick means of file transfer. Right now in the north american market place the Ipod is the BEST MP3 PLAYER. If we lived in Japan you would pose an interesting argument however MD tech doesn't compete with the Ipod here. Btw, was I wrong when I said the MD technology was old and has been around for a while. No I wasn't. Get your head out of your ass. Now, so you all know I dont own an Ipod. Edit// Please note the use of North America in my talk. For you please stick to America. |
