Alright...seriously...I'm not one to bitch and moan about "stolen elections" or shit like that, but when you say "the system worked exactly the way it should have", you're wrong. There's no room for debate there...you're just plain wrong. The idea of a democratic society is that the majority rules. Pure and simple. If the most people want you in a given position, you get the position. In the '00 elections, Gore won the majority of the vote, but still somehow lost the election. Oh I know...before you bring up the electoral college I'm well aware of the principle...and it's fucking retarded. Telling people in a state like...say...Michigan that their votes don't count as much as someone's vote in California's simply based on population...and you KNOW that roughly 85% of Californians are morons. They've got an ex-body builder and shitty actor as their governor. They followed Minnesota's lead after they elected the honorable Jesse "The Body" Ventura. So no, the system didn't work the way it's supposed to because we've flawed it. In a TRUELY democratic society we wouldn't be in this quagmire. On that note...I hear the thought police coming.
