i really don't think that men and women are all that different....both genders have their good pionts and their bad points. But that's what makes us attracted to one another (or to the same sex) and a lot of the time the good and bad points are the similar from one gender to the next.....it's like steve said though....some characteristics are "expected" of each of the genders.
