just got done installing the walbro, i had a little incident and had to do some "customizing" but its working well so i'm happy.
Heres the acces panel under that back seat: ![]() heres whats underneath, the 2 fuel lines and 1 electrical connection will need to be disconnected before pulling out the pump: ![]() then this pulls out, not a great pic but oh well: ![]() another pic of the assembly that comes out, next to the walbro: ![]() couple notes of caution: 1. even though i released the pressure in the fuel system like the Helms manual said, a decent amount of gas came out when loosening the banjo bolt under the access panel. 2. both pumps have a little nub that the filter on the pump is supposed to attatch to via a little lock ring, the honda pumps is metal and the walbro's is gay ass plastic. don't break it when putting the pump back into the assembly like I did and if you do, zip ties are your friend. |
