If the computer is programmed to run as aggressive timing as possible then simply putting in higher octane WOULD yield more power...

If YOU advance your timing and run higher octane you will get more power then stock timing and lower octane gas...

Simply putting higher octane gas into a car without it or you modifiing the timing you will not make more power...

The Octane doesn't really even "make" the power... it allows for it to be made by the timing...

You can sometimes buy 102+octane gas at local airports... if not higher... I believe I can get 110 down the road at the airport...

There USED to be a station in a town near me that sold 102 out of the ground... however they stopped that before I got my license... 1993... they sold it in 10 or 50 gallon drums after that for another year or two...

You should be able to get race gas at the track... I'm 99% sure they have it at english town NJ... not sure though... I don't race my car or run race gas...
