in florida you can pulled over accelerating to quickly, it falls under the category of exhibition:peeling out, cutting in and out of traffic. penalties include: huge ticket, loss of drivers liscence, arrest with jail time, and driver improvement classes(i got caught peeling out in first gear, accelerating too quickly and cutting in and out of traffic. my excuse was that my clutch sticks cause i need a new one, and i didn't realize that i was accelerateing too quickly, plus i shifted lanes twice; to pass a dump truck that was stopped. i only got a ticket for having no registration (i was on the way to get a new one cause i didn't realize that i was supposed to keep the original white card that the sticker came on!
