thats what i'm doing 2morrow, or rather 2day, since its 1am, its not the starter b/c it turns fine, or the ignition, i know it has something to do with the fuel, i thought that maybe the fuel filter was clogged, so i replaced it, and for the first start it started up fine, but then it went back to the old way

how many miles on the car? does the starter turn at all or just a click? if you jump does the car start right away? CEL?? just trying to find out your situation better before I can help. most of the time you can fix/replace whatever is causing the problem in your own driveway so hopefully you can do that.

is it starting after a few cranks ? most likely you are dealing with a weak igniter unit or a bad coil

no its not the battery i said that already, and i said that it turns fine, it doesn't matter tho i just put it in the shop b/c it was burning oil and leaking a little oil by the distributor, but its gonna be all fixed so no worries

if it is leaking oil then your starter might be saturated and the brushes aren't making a clean contact

i don't think that its that, b/c right after i changed the fuel filter it started up fine, and then the next start was fine as well, then after that it started having its problems again so i think it may be the fuel pump, which would suck ass

have them pull the starter and the solenoid, cause on my mazda i had a massive leak and the starter was on the way to the lowest point of travel, to make a long story short, the brushes got soaked i oil and wouldn't make contact, we could beat the starterand it would make contact, it could be a possibilitty

Honda made a bunch of bad ignition switches. They had a recall recently, Not sure what years it involved though.

My guess would be a flakey fuel pump...

Yeah, that's another typically flakey part in CiViC's. The ignitor usually goes bad...
