oil filter sandwich adapter
Alright...I really am interested in this little thing...well learning about it anyways. I found pictures but thats about it...and the pics werent good enough for me to figure out how it works Im guessing that its just a spacer that has connectors on it for hoses (for turbo or pressure/temp hoses for gauges) and then the oil filter goes on the end of the adapter. is that it? |

i've seen them a lot being used with oil filter relocator kits, or run the oil lines to the turbo.

oo found this on h-t
http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=486709 do some scrolling and you'll see that you can get adapters to change the out-lines price is relatively higher, but i think the fact that its adaptable justifies it...and it looks better ![]() |

![]() you could you use the lines you run for a gauge if you'd like, but it wouldn't be as accurate as running it from the block directly.
believe it or not, go to any uhaul (yes, that uhaul) and get the oil cooler through them...it comes with a sandwich adapter, thick rubber lines, all the bolts and what not. it also comes with the core, but fluidyne makes much better core that could be fitted right on it. i didn't want to spend a alot on an oil cooler and this works just as well, for bout 100 bucks plus whichever core you decide to use. i have it currently on my impreza and will be doing this soon to a 240sx. -salvatore |

I ordered 2 of those. One for each of my car. The best part is that the oild that comes out of it is filtered. There are usually 2 connections on the side of those: 1) For a supply line to a turbo or VTEC head (on Hondas LS/CRVTEC). 2) For an oil pressure gauge tap.
