Regaurdless of wether he did or not does not mean it is not possible to get "Valve Float" when using Nitrous (especially a big shot).
Stock Valve springs (in your case, Dseries valve springs) are not designed to move as fast as a shot of Naws is capable of making them move - therefore, its a good idea to upgrade this so you dont get valve float. BTW, its always a good idea to use performance springs with performance retainers. I'd be willing to bet some CTR springs and Retainers (since they are good till 9k rpms) would be a great "inexpensive" way to beef up your valvetrain to handle more nnnnaaaaawwwwwwssssss. |
