i think there is a clamp that secures it. check all the way around the socket of the bulb.

I ended up getting it after taking out the battery and some other stuff, but that was a month ago.

wow i missed this thread. i had the same problem with my car too. i just banged the clip till it came out.

yeah for future reference i guess there are just hard to find clips. but i guess you know that now
