it wasnt to make the ship be invisible to radar it was to try and see if they could change the harmonic frequencies of each individual electron to cause a seperation and make it invisible to the naked eye but ended up creating another reality/dimension......all of the people onboard died but some lived long enuff for them to get information from about what happend....but of course the blue book didnt tell what that info was...it was all blacked out
