download programs ?!

Ok, my Kazzalite really is fockered up on me now. As soon as it connects a banner comes up and says "KAZAALITE.KPP has caused and error in KazaaLite and will now terminate", so then it crahses and i can't download. I have tried restarting my computer, reinstalling it and everything. So, after that i tired using WinMX and a program called Ares. And niether one of them will connect, they play music and shit but just sit there and wont' connect..ANY SUGGESTIONS to fix it or any reccomendations on file-sharing programs??

Ok...this might be a silly suggestion...but I suppose it's worth noting. Did you COMPLETELY uninstall your old version of Kazaa (if you had one) before installing Kazaalite? You have to move your files in the "my shared" folder into a temp folder cuz it'll delete that too along with all of your shit if you don't but installing lite without deleting regular Kazaa will mess your shit up. You prolly already did all of this, but like I said, it's worth mentioning.

Tyr this, uninstall, reboot, install, and leave it at My shared Folder..

There was a known issue, in some cases when a user changed the shared folder or the folder where download, it fuked.

**Watch yo self P'Diggs**

Im pretty sure plain old Kazza has plain old spyware.

There is a program developed by Lavasoft (its a free download) called Ad Aware - it will delete spyware from ur system.

Yeah...shame on all of us who don't want to pay $18.99 for an album chalk full of one or two good songs. What the f@ck are we thinking?

Exactly - i hate buying an album cause you hear one song, like it, and then find out it was the only good song on the album.

That's the price of most of the newer "big" CDs where I work. I don't buy the crap that costs that much (that's usually the shitty stuff like a new Britney Spears or 50 Cent or Jessica Simpson or whatever...you know...teenie bopper bullshit). That's just an example. Even the "lower" priced stuff is usually $14.99 or so...maybe a buck or two one way or the other. Sorry...I work part time during school and don't have the money to pay that much for a CD and still pay for those unimportant things like rent and food. If I download an album and I can tell that a lot of thought and energy and effort went into it's production then I just delete the files and go buy it out of respect for that artist, but that's a rare occurance. Besides, my music tastes are all over the place so it would be ridiculously expensive for me to go out and buy every album that I just kinda liked. So f@ck the RIAA and anyone who thinks we're taking food out of anyone's mouths. I feel no guilt about screwing big record companies out of the money they've been swiping from my pocket for years with their price fixing bullshit.

You bootleg'er! I am reporting you to the RIAA...You will go to jail, then when you die, you will go to hell!

Don't you know there are starving artist...They are buying Escolades and Navigators, they can no longer afford Lambo's and Bentlys...You ought to repent your sins and send the RIAA a couple grand for each cd you have stolen!

"when to use it"? All the time! for anything from digital recordings on mix boards, to recording lectures in class, and to the obvious 5hrs of music on 1 80min MD in mdlp4 (and yeah other things too)

MD is the greatest! (yes this is an md plug )

most people ive met dont even know about it period...they have no clue what it is

Damnit....why won't MiniDiscs go the way of Beta and DATs? Ever go try to find a MD album at a record store....even when they were new? For personal recording they're good stuff, but other than that you might as well use them as coasters. Same with DAT...great for professional recording but take it home and use it with a home stereo and you've wasted some big $$$. Please, just let MDs die in peace.

^^^ see what i mean?

MD's were made for easy use in busy times...

crammed subway, limited space, small MD...

they're not really ment for home use.

I guess i just learned to deal with thinking to myself or the awefulness of reading. Now if I'd known about Minidiscs ahead of time things might be different.
