I hate eggs

Or at least I hate people who throw them at my car from no reason when im driving home at 2 in the morning. By the time I got home there were already two rust spots and the paint is all chipped from where the shell hit. very cool, so how much would that cost to fix anyways

You drive a riced out ford and are calling US gay????

Secondly I was merely informing him that if there is rust it's NOT from the egg.... It WILL NOT happen that fast without an electrical current attached to it...

To pimpenprelude... NO it can't.

To v8killingimports...

Close but not quite... They're not that bad if you maintain them... but yes the bare metal rusts VERY fast... just a simple coat of wax will slow it down to an un-noticable crawl though...

I've seen LOTS of domestics that just keep rusting and rusting no matter what you do... especially ford ranger pickups... those things rust out like nothing I've seen before (mid-late 80's ones.. oh and ford taurus' too...)

haha no fighting kids.....nonovurbizniz was actually right, i was confused when i saw the rust, but like i said, in the morning I found out it was because someone hti me in a parking lot near the same spot.

Also when it happend I was going 65 and I knew it was eggs right away....I slammed the brakes and turned around and put my brights into the bushes....they must have already ran away.....I was so pissed too, i would have chased them down and snapped their necks.

nonovurbizniz dude iam not starting stuff.. but yea it can rust over nite...take a piece of sandpaper and take it down to the metal.. now put some water on it.. get up and there will be rust.. i know it can do it because, a few weeks ago when i was preping my car for paint.. i made that mistake, and had to re-sand it to get the rust off...

That's not really rust... I see what your saying but...

I was rebuilding my brakes a while back and completely stripped them... They're castiron which is about the most rust-prone metal in the world and they took WAY longer than over night to rust even minorly...

the light brown stuff that happens fast is technically rust but if you wiped you hand over it it would come right off...

For example I was able to wash off the rust on my calipers after they had sat for a week or two before I finally painted them...
