I read up on this motor a lot a while back when I was trying to figure out the best motor for my swap. It's actually a decent little motor, and you can't beat the price. You can have that swapped into your car for about 2 grand, whereas my motor cost 3.5 grand without the swap. That was the motor that I was going to get, and then I stumbled upon a little extra money which allowed me to get the better motor, B18C. If the B16 was the motor in my budget I would definately get it. It's a good motor and is easy to beef up the internals if you're planning on boosting. If you're not gonna boost, it's still a great motor for the average joe. Lots of aftermarket parts available for it and is cheap and easy to drop into civics.
