Ignition timing & turbo question

You can still boost on stock timing bro. I'm pushing 8psi on stock timing right now. I have no detonation or knocking even on this hot and humid Va weather. I do plan to retard it at least 1 or 2 degrees. As far as the oil supply line, you have no choice bro. you have to get those steel braided lines. Shiet, talk to a GSM buddy and see if they have some in the storeroom. If not, the cheapest route is to go to ACE hardware store and have them flare out the fittings for you and some copper tubings. I do not recommend this tho, because the vibration on the engine may cause it to come loose or break off. Hoses seem to compensate with vibs better. The return line is gonna be a biatch for sure. If I were you, just get this and call it quits:
