2000 EX question

I should clarify my question; it sounded awkward after reading it:


I have all options that an EX has (power everything, ABS etc)
And it was sold to me from a honda dealer as an EX (and it has the emblem on it etc)

Buuut, it's non vtec.

Are there non vtec EX's in existence (sold in Canada)
