Look at the area of collision if there are any paint from your car missing or if there are any paint from his car. The police can do a paint composite test, or something like that. And if the paint on your car matches the paint on his car, or vice versa then it proves that contact was made between the two vehicles.

I think he means the actual guy driving, not the car. It was pretty obvious that the car had hit him. It was a decision between the guy and his wife.
