Hmm, the way you phrase that I'm not sure which is which.

harley = brand name
crotch rocket = style of motorcycle

So, say you'd ride a harley but never an import cruiser, or say you'd ride a cruiser but never a sportbike, and it would make more sense.

It's really easy to buy a 600 race-replica bike and drive it really fast. You can do wheelies and stoppies, impress all the girls at your high school, and when riders like me see you we'll shake our heads at why our insurance is so high and why the non-riding public hates motorcycles so much.

I'm in RR's camp - I took the course, learned on a small bike, bought what I could afford full insurance on, ride with 80% gear 100% of the time, and save my unsafe riding for the track.
