only a cold air intake would do that. short rams take it right from the engine bay. and i think only the k20 has the filter behind the motor which would be the only way it would be near your header as well.

if you get an intake expect a 3-6hp increase at most. you'll pick up a little torque with a cold air or a little upper rpm with a short ram. you'll also get better gas mileage to boot.
