Need clutch recommendation for 2000 SI
There are alot of clutch kits out there. I have a stocker SI with CAI and it needs a new clutch in a bad way (after 50K of abuse). So whose do I use ACT, Centerforce, or who? I would like some feedback of what and why you run what you do! and how it performs I am looking for better than OEM but not full out race.
Thanks to all who post!! |

I have the ACT HDSS and so far so good. It clamps harder than stock, but is pretty easy to drive with on a daily basis.

if not to full out race, i'd go with exedy... don't get me wrong act is a bad@ss clutch but for a decent pedal feel (a little firmer than stock) and good clamping force (about %35 over stock) and good wear rate, and it'll save you about $100 over act. go with act or tilton if you're going to race.
