Tint laws aren't exactly such a bad idea. They do reduce the visibility out of a car, something that makes driving less safe. Sure you may like it during the day, but 10-2% at night in the rain can be damn hard to see out of, aka less safe. Driving without a seatbelt should be your choice, it's your life....but seeing out of a car, that's MY or somebody else's life on the line.....

I've had a couple of friends that are cops and they said it's not only about being able to see out of the car, it's about being able to see what's going on inside of the car...i.e., it's hard to see a gun through limo tint. that makes sense to me. I wouldn't want to have some punkass bust a cap in my ass through his limo tint
