				My recent project..
I was really bored today so I thought..hey I should do this project that I have been planning for a while now. Except it didn't really turn out like I planned.. what I wanted to do was to polish my valve cover because it was all grubby looking kind of like this: http://www.clubsol.com/techinfo_mechanical_3.shtml I got to work with the cleaning (I even cleaned the underside of the valve cover, yuck!) and after it was all clean and dry I started sanding. That took FOREVER, you have no idea! and even by the time I was "done" it was still dirty in some places. That's when I decided maybe I would throw my own little twist into the project..my hands were starting to feel numb from all the sanding. So I just took the half can of left over spray paint from my wheels and the engine enamel clear coat I was going to use for the wheels but didnt, and I went to work on the valve cover. I'm waiting on the clear coat to dry so I can put on the last coat, and then I will take some pics for you guys. It should be done within the next hour or two |

				 | yea that's what i was thinking too but it looks unlikely that i will get a motor (LS turbo or B18) in the near future so in the meantime my engine bay won't look so ugly..heheh |

Heh, mine needs an act of god and a handful of shiny miracles. But the last time I priced those at the parts shop they were a little too big for my pockets. Quote:
