oil flow............
it goes like this.....
engine block (oil pressure switch)------> turbo-------> oil pan the oil coming from the pressure switch is the oil supply/feed. oil coming from the turbo is the drain/return oil....... oil being supplied to the turbo has to circulate and DRAIN as much as possible to prevent "caking" of oil when the engine is shutdown. it also lowers the temperature of the turbo by a constant recirculation of the oil. |
