To those that have a 94 accord
How do u take of the shift knob? I wana get a new once i get my clutch and short shifter in, but do i force it off or is there a special way of taking it off? thnx peace

The stock knob has a clip on it that releases the shift boot. Squeeze the clip, pull the boot straight down. Now just unscrew the knob.
The first time I tried, I destroyed the clip on the knob trying to get the boot off ![]()

I looked at my stock knob, and the "clip" I was talking about it part of that. Just two plastic things going down that hold the boot up.

That's the way aftermarket knobs are. I have a Momo knob and a Skunk2 knob... both are the same. I also have an aftermarket leather momo boot that stays up better.
