Lack of sirens

Not just by you man. A lot of times in town I see cops heading someplace without their sirens on, only flipping them on when they get to intersections. I understand that they might be trying to avoid waking people up when they do this between say 11PM and 7AM or something, but it will cause an accident at some point.

Most times on highways though they are sporting enough to turn on the sirens, but that's probably because if they didn't, they would never get anywhere with the volume of traffic.
