in florida, i herd.. havnt looked into it, if you have over $25000 in life insurance you arnt required to have bike insurance. remeber, they insure the vehical, that is why a 100k car is more to insure than a 18k car. a 8 or 9k bike cant be more to insure than a new car.


on a side note, do not get a big sports bike, everyone has stressd it enough i think, but you will lay it down. they are too powerfu for a begginer rider. if you launch it above 1500rpms and dont know what your doing, you are on your ass and the bike is scratched up. i rode my friends yz250 dirt bike last night, it is fast as shit and i have trouble keeping the front wheel down between shifts, his brother has a yz429 (4 stroke) and that thing is WAY too fast. you might wana find a friend or something with a bike to teach you the basics first because you will be pissed if you lay down your new bike
