alcohilic vs.beer connoisseur

wheres the line between someone who enjoys the taste of beer and someone who is an alcoholic? im not worried about me, i drink less than once a week. but i have a full fridge of beer, and i almost had one with dinner for the the taste of it tonight.. but didnt.

I'd say you're an alcoholic when you NEED the beer to feel good each day. Otherwise, you're pretty much ok.

i LOVE the taste of good beer, but if i had a fridge of light beer, i'd probobly only drink it when i wanted to get drunk.

my uncle drank a 6 pack every night before he went to bed, unless you are remotly like that. You aren't an alchoholic. If you can tell the alchohol is ruining various relationships i think that is when you are considered an alchoholic.

So do I. I think that if I kept a fridge full of it, I couldn't help myself from drinking it.

Good beer = Amstel Light
Cheap beer = Southpaw Light

Those are my personal favorites.

But I have to say the best beer I have ever had is Fat Tire, brewed in Ft. Collins. Had a few on a skiing trip to Breckenridge 2 years ago. Only problem is they don't sell it here in FL.

Anyone mind sending me a 6-pack? Use LOTS of bubble wrap please.

Over the xmas break I picked up one of those cases of 18 imported beers.

I typically liked the german, irish and Canadian <-- go figure.
I however dont like watery beers, like your american beer or for that matter anything south of the boarder.

I can honestly say i dont drink much because i dont but if i fee like having a beer with a meal I will. It really depends on the meal though, like beer and cake dont go together - just trust me on that. If your having a burger or some meat product a beer is nice.

I've given up on drinking to get drunk though, seems so childish if ya ask me.

To be honest i dont remember what it was called, but it had imported beers in there, from all over the world. How could that be domestic? If it was i'm kinda lost as to why i bought the pack then....

Chris...you aren't an alcoholic...now if you would eat "beer-eal", as you so affectionately called it, every morning, then I'd have to worry and we'd have to have an AA forum.

As for my fav beers....Yeungling, Rolling Rock, and Honey Brown
