Well, that's store price. I got it at a warehouse sale, and it's refurbished!
That's the reason it's 400 bucks USD. New it's 600 first of all. Second, it has plenty of functions, and does all I need and most would in a camera! The software that came with the FireWire card and Cable is also pretty good. I just have to figure out how to propely use it all!

i was talking about digi cams not camcorders....
