CV joints are simple.. a clutch isnt bad with tey right tools and a mechanics workshop(lift, air, ect) jsut time consuming. i can change an axle now in about 30 mins. if you want to check if thats the problem, look inder the car at the axle boot, if its ripped open, you nailed it no doubt, if it looks kinda like dried or cracked rubber, most likely it. they can go bad without the boot messing up, but its not as common. is your car lowered? do you ever do burnout with the wheels turned? those are real quick ways to rip up a FWD axle boot
