hmm thats weird, youre sure its the 1.7L DOHC VTEC right? I ask because the 92-93 teg GS-R's came with the 1.7L DOHC VTEC you mentioned, coded B17A1 and rated at 160hp......but the 92-93 teg RS/LS/GS came with the 1.8L DOHC non-vtec B18A1 w/140hp...
are u the original owner? maybe carfax just screwed up or something. weirdness.
