Found out how much it cost......
Called Autosport Addiction by my house they said 1,800 for me to switch from an automatic to a manual :( thats alot:( And I cant sell the car because my mom just bought as a present.......

That's a lot of money. If I were you, I'd just save up for a swap instead. It may take awhile to get the money... but you'll get a lot more than a new tranny.
BTW, I just thought I'd tell you after reading your info that its spelled VTEC, not VTECH...

There was an Automatic Civic EX in SCC that ran mid 12s on a stock auto Tranny..
