as far as I know that as well as what you mentioned should be impossible as far as bolting them straight up..

but i've never tried so wtf do i know.

the whole point of the block/head letters is to show which parts are swappable. Ie: b16 head or bottom end can go onto any part from a b18 or b20 (with some modification sometimes).

he is a fool. its not possible. the combustion chambers wouldnt meet up with they pistons right, the bolts wouldnt line up right, and the h22 head is ALOT bigger than a b-serise head. there are more differences in sizes and fitament than i care to even think about. its like fitting a h22 header on a b16 head.

What the hell would a B series engine gain by putting a H series head on it? I'd have to say nothing.

its not possile, the engines are different lengths, its physicaly not possible, you'd have more luck getting a h22 head on a f22sohc enne than a b-serise dohc engine. that guy lied to you, or you just dont nkow what a h22 head look like

weird. did he tape the head to the block ?

first of all the bore of the h22 is 87mm
f22 is 85mm

and i couldn't find the bore for the b16 but the d16 is a 75mm bore
the b18c5 has a 81mm bore.

i guess numbers speak for themselves

im not saying the f22 head has been done, but theres more of a chance than b-serise.
